To let or not to let, that is the question.

I have struggled with the concept of letting for some time until recently where I have come to understand that letting does not happen on its own. Letting requires action, right of way or submission on my part.
In the Bible we are instructed to: Colossians 3:16&17 "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And [whatever] you do in word or deed, [do] all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him." and in verses 22-24 "Bondservants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God. And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." chapter 4, verse 1 "Masters, give your bondservants what is just and fair, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven"

We are created for action; to do, let, serve and obey. The peace that comes from letting God surpasses understanding! "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,Philippians 2:5"
